[dropcap3]T[/dropcap3]uckahoe Strategies represents The America’s Cup. Initially, hired to assist the sailing organization with the fallout surrounding the death of sailor Andrew “Bart” Simpson. Our role has since been expanded to assist the organization with multiple strategic communications issues.
Tuckahoe Strategies has provided crisis communications planning; message development; media relations and on-going strategic counsel.
Ramsey Poston works directly with the America’s Cup leadership to positively change the narrative. He personally facilitated Message Summit in which the organization’s key players participated in a daylong strategic discussion of its strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities. The Message Development sessions produced a working strategic roadmap that has helped to deliver messages by credible spokespeople to positively re-position the event.

Poston also organized a timely and major media tour of key outlets. This tour included America’s Cup CEO Stephen Barclay and ORACLE Team USA skipper Jimmy Spithill in advance of the regatta’s Opening Ceremonies. The media outlets included USA Today, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
Poston continues to provide daily services for the America’s Cup.
