Mr. Poston takes a hands-on approach with respect to message development, issue management and overall strategic communications.

Mr. Poston has worked with NASCAR for 10 years – initially hired to manage the crisis around the death of Dale Earnhardt – he has served as the chief communications strategist for each of the sport’s challenges.

Mr. Poston has been recognized for his leadership and innovation.  He led the charge in NASCAR in Social Media; developed revolutionary statistical applications; and created the NASCAR Citizen Journalists Media Corps.

Prior to joining NASCAR, Mr. Poston served as Senior Vice President at the Washington, D.C. public affairs firm Powell Tate. He led the firm’s Labor & Employment practice, providing strategic communications counsel for litigation, contract negotiations, and corporate campaigns.
